The MX set was like being at Disneyland every day. I wanted to move there! The cast and I were very close and I thought that we were doing some amazing work on that show. Honestly, being on any of the sets was an amazing experience. That's where all the action is.

It was so hard being in LA and having the shows shoot in Canada. I tried to spend as much time up North as I could.

While shooting EFC, my friends were shooting the X-Men movie across the street. The idea for MX actually started with a conversation between me and one of the X-Men producers. And yes: I am a comic book junkie!! I was then lucky enough to bring on my hero, Howard Chaykin, to develop the show.

That con was my Dad's first and he was floored. You have to understand; I intentionally got them hooked on STNG when I was in High school when it was on in first run. They became addicted and agreed with me (the caliber of acting, writing etc.) So years later for my Dad to see me as a small part of this world he was totally jammed. I have to tell you a funny story though...

Growing up reading comic books was the single most influence in what I have done to date. And my mom thought I was silly spending my allowance on them :)
