The Rehearsed Readings is a new project at the Centre formed in the summer of 2008. The Centre, with a club of experienced actors, will read best loved plays and new Canadian work for an audience. A number of our best actors expressed an interest in reviving an actor’s tradition of having play readings so they could revisit their favourite works, to give audiences the pure experience of listening to a playwright’s words and to the actor’s voice, and for all to share the excitement of actors exploring a play at the beginning stage of rehearsal.

The Centre is a not-for-profit community arts centre having served the community for six years. All are welcome to participate in this project. Donations made at the readings will go to the Centre. It’s your space. Take your place.
