Non-MX Articles: Victoria Pratt (7/09 Mongolian Death Worms)

Excerpt from WFAA 4/20/09: Victoria Pratt
On the set in Dallas
Dallas-based actor-turned-producer Andrew Stevens has had a film crew setting up around Dallas to shoot a Sci-Fi Channel World premiere movie, Mongolian Death Worm.
The opus stars Sean Patrick Flannery (The Boondock Saints) and features appearances by Dallas actor Drew Waters and Maxim Hot 100 model and actress Victoria Pratt.
During a recent day's shoot, the basement at Southside on Lamar was used as an underground tomb. (Spooky, huh?)

Beware the Mongolian Death Worms!
Tuesday, October 06 2009 |03:08 PM
The Worm supposedly ranges from 2 to 5 feet long and lives under the sands of the Gobi desert, from which it emerges to kill its prey via either spitting caustic acid or launching electrical shocks. As for its movie incarnation, MONGOLIAN DEATH WORMS recently lensed in Dallas, TX for OGRE and WYVERN director Steven R. Monroe, who scripted with SEA BEAST’s Neil Elman. Veteran actor-turned-filmmaker Andrew Stevens produced, with MASTERS OF HORROR: THE DAMNED THING’s Sean Patrick Flanery, HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2’s Victoria Pratt, George Cheung and Drew Waters (whose first feature, THEY FEED, also pitted him against killer worms) among the cast. Fango just learned that singer/actress Jon Mack (pictured), who has a small part in SAW VI, also has an onscreen role in WORMS, and that a March premiere date is being targeted. We’ll bring you more news as we find it out!
