Con*Cept Montreal Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention

Con*Cept is Montreal's only fan run annual science-fiction and fantasy convention. We cover all aspects of fandom: literature, television, comics, art, gaming, and much more.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the guests, volunteers and
sponsors that helped made Con*Cept 2008 a great con. We are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2009.

Con*Cept 2009 is scheduled for October 2-3-4 at the Days Hotel, (formerly Days Inn) 1005 Guy Street, Montreal.

Media Guest Of Honour: Karen Cliche

French Canadian, "army brat" Karen Cliche has been a successful actress for over 12 years , with many credits to her name. She has starred in several tv series such as "Vampire High", "Adventure Inc.", "Mutant X" ,"Young Blades", and most recently "Flash Gordon". Karen and the cast of the series "The Business" were nominated for outstanding ensemble in a comedy in 2007. Some of her Guest Star credits include "The Dresden Files" and "Till Death Do Us Part" with John Waters.

She also delves into film as well, starring alongside Denise Richards in "I Do But I don't", and Stephen Dorff in the action packed " Steal", and most recently in the horror "SAW 6" due out this fall.

Karen is passionate in her love for animals and equal rights for women, and supports many charities in this respect. She is ALMOST as passionate for her fans!! ;-)
