“GENE RODDENBERRY’S ANDROMEDA” THE JIM HENSON COMPANY’S “FARSCAPE” “MUTANT X” RECEIVE SATURN AWARD NOMINATIONS: ALL THREE ACCLAIMED SYNDICATED TELEVISION SERIES DISTRIBUTED ON HOME VIDEO BY ADV FILMS

HOUSTON March 10 2003—The 2003 Saturn Award nominations announced on March 5 include nominations for three television series distributed on home video by ADV Films. These nominations:

· “Farscape” “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda” and “Mutant X” were all among the six nominees for “Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series;”
· Ben Browder of “Farscape” was nominated for “Best Actor in a Television Series;”
· Claudia Black of “Farscape” was nominated for “Best Actress in a Television Series.”

The Saturn Awards are given annually by Cinescape magazine and the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films. Members of the Academy vote on nominees and recipients of the awards which recognize the best science fiction fantasy horror action adventure and thriller genre work done in film television and on DVD.

ADV Films leadership was understandably pleased. “The fact that ‘Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda’ Farscape’ and ‘Mutant X’ have all performed so well in the race for Saturn Award nominations is no surprise” said ADV Films President CEO and Co-Founder John Ledford. “These series represent some of the finest genre entertainment on the air today.”
